Founded in 1991 by Kenneth D. Carr, Carr Development, Inc. (CDI) specializes in commercial real estate development, site selection, brokerage, asset management and consulting. Environmental sensitivity and responsible resource utilization are key aspects of CDI's development philosophy.

Mr. Carr's career in commercial real estate development spans four decades and encompasses a wide variety of projects, ranging from mixed-use developments and shopping centers to commercial subdivisions and office buildings.

Carr Development, Inc.'s firm commitment to the creation of high quality, site-sensitive, community-friendly developments can be seen in every project undertaken.

* To minimize disruption of a natural creek bed, the office building at 2700 Bee Cave Road in Rollingwood, was designed and built over the sensitive creek. The creek remains undisturbed and has enhanced the natural landscape below and on either side of the building.

* Sundown Park, West Lake Court, Cedar Park Square, and Oak Hill Plaza each were designed and built around stands of beautiful native oaks, elms and pecans, preserving them and providing an attractive natural environment for tenants and their customers. This extensive use of landscaping and green space was used by Carr Development, Inc. before the implementation of the stringent landscape ordinances and green building programs.
