Founded in 1991 by Kenneth D. Carr, Carr Development, Inc. (CDI) specializes in commercial real estate development, site selection, brokerage, asset management, property management and consulting. Mr. Carr's career in commercial real estate development spans four decades and encompasses a wide variety of projects, ranging from mixed-use developments and shopping centers to commercial subdivisions and office buildings.

* Sundown Park, West Lake Court, Cedar Park Square, and Oak Hill Plaza each were designed and built around stands of beautiful native oaks, elms and pecans, preserving them and providing an attractive natural environment for tenants and their customers. This extensive use of landscaping and green space was used by Carr Development, Inc. before the implementation of the stringent landscape ordinances and green building programs used today.

* Uplands Village, West Lake Court and Sundown Park were some of the first commercial projects in Austin to use pervious pavement to recharge groundwater and reduce storm water runoff.
